Mr. Cao Guifa
Mr. Cao Guifa, 55, serves as Chairman of Shigo Asia AG’s Supervisory Board since May 2009. From 1979 to 1993 he served as a research fellow and then doctoral supervisor at the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), China’s leading research and development center focused on science and technology. In 1989, he was named a “Top Ten Young Scientist” and was awarded the special allowance of the State Council in 1992. Mr. Cao has served as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Minnesota. From1988 to 1995, Mr. Cao advised the World Bank on a range of Chinese development efforts. He led the Chinese Academy of Science’s commercial endeavors as General Manager. He served as Chairman of Shigo Asia AG's Management Board and Non-executive Chairman of Blanket Holdings Limited from 2007 to May 2009.
Mr. Cao also serves as Chairman of Wit Invest Ltd and Chairman of publicly-traded Chinashoto PLC’s Board of Directors.
Michael Stephan
Michael was until recently managing director corporate finance / ECM of mwb fairtrade Wertpapierhandelsbank AG, listed in the prime standard of the Deutsche Börse Frankfurt. He has more than ten years of experience in the corporate finance /investment banking industry. He joined the Bank from a German corporate finance boutique in Munich. Prior to that Michael worked for Holtzbrinck Ventures, Munich, the Corporate Venture Capital Company of the Publishing Group Georg v. Holtzbrinck & Landesbank Baden-Württemberg, where he focused 6 years on national and international VC-/ M&A transactions as well as on Debt -/Growth-/ Equity Capital transactions. Notable transactions include capital markets activities i.e. for Solon AG, the sale of Jobline.de to TMP Monster Inc., the acquisition of bol.com BV from Bertelsmann AG in syndicate with T-Venture and Weltbild Group. Michael studied Law in Berlin, New York and Cologne, started his career with the Bankhaus Sal. Oppenheim and holds a first and second degree in law and is a fully registered lawyer.
Stuart Lane MA (Hons), FSI
A highly experienced and entrepreneurial financial adviser with a well established reputation for working with and advising the boards of quoted and private companies across all market sectors. Lead adviser to the board on some 150 IPOs and several hundred other transactions including turnarounds, restructurings, refinancings, M&A and fundraisings. Significant board advisory roles, in particular with mid and small cap companies, through senior positions at a select number of financial advisers. Over recent years has gained extensive experience with Asian and particularly Chinese companies. His business activities comprise non-executive directorships and related advisory work.
Mr. Qian Chunsheng
Mr. Qian Chunsheng, 45, serves as a Supervisory Board member of SHIGO ASIA AG, as Director of Blanket Holdings Limited, and as Chief Executive Officer of the company’s operating subsidiaries.
Mr. Bai Gang
Mr. Baigang, aged 41, CFO of Shigo Asia AG's Management Board. Mr Bai, Master of Economic and Financial Administration, has the qualification as a bond trader of Shanghai Stock Exchange. He has 15 years’ operating and management experiences in banking and securities industry. He was the sales representative, vice general manager and general manager of China Construction Bank, Nanjing Branch, Nanjing Headquarter and Shanghai Headquarter of ECITIC, which endows him rich experiences in assets operation and management. At present, he is the director of Blanket Holdings Limited.
Dr. Lukas Lenz
Dr. Lukas Lenz is an investor and expert on the German financial markets. Dr. Lenz serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SPARTA AG, Hamburg; FALKENSTEIN Nebenwerte AG, Hamburg and 2G Bio-Energietechnik AG, Heek. He is also Managing Director of KIMON Beteiligungen AG. Dr. Lenz has been Managing Director of SPARTA AG, KWG Kommunale Wohnen AG, among other listed holding companies. Previously, Dr. Lenz was a partner with international law firms in Düsseldorf and Hamburg where he specialized in corporate finance and M&A-Transactions. Dr. Lenz completed his legal studies in Hamburg and Munich, and wrote his doctoral thesis while at the Max-Planck-Institute of Private and Foreign Law.
